Stroke is the leading cause of disability in the United States

Main content start

Hemiparesis (arm and/or leg weakness), affecting up to 66% of stroke survivors, is a major cause of post-stroke disability.

Recovery from hemiparesis is often limited by our current rehabilitation model

These limitations include:

1) Lack of resources to offer long-term daily intensive therapy

2) Diminishing motivation over time to continue rehabilitation therapy

3) Significant time cost for outpatient services

Engage Health aims to address these limitations, increase at-home rehabilitation, and enhance our understanding of patient’s recovery
